Litigation – Civil & Criminal

We have handled contentious matters across the High Court, Court of Appeal, Magistrates’ and Small Claims Courts, spanning civil, commercial, criminal, property and public interest litigation.

• Significant public interest litigation and serious criminal defense matters.
• Drafting of pleadings, applications and submissions, and conducting case and file management across the High Court and Court of Appeal registries in Nairobi (Milimani), Kisumu and Eldoret.
• Litigation before Magistrates’ and Small Claims Courts in Eldoret, Kakamega, Kapsabet and Iten.

Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

Our Principal Partner is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and has been an active champion of alternative dispute resolution throughout his career, both in practice and within the wider legal community.

• Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb); certified in Introduction to Arbitration and ADR by CIArb-Kenya.
• Exposure to arbitral proceedings during pupillage at TripleOKLaw Advocates LLP, including drafting pleadings and arbitral awards alongside counsel and tribunal members.
• Served as rapporteur to the Chairperson of the Sports Dispute Tribunal, drafting Directions and Decisions.
• Helped establish an ADR Bar-Bench Committee between the Law Society of Kenya – Nairobi Branch, the National Center for International Arbitration, and the Milimani Court-Annexed Mediation Secretariat.
